The Hope In Action Anti-Violence Project is led by Director Rev. Tony Lee and Prince George’s County Office of Community Relations Director Euniesha Davis. Dreams Work 501c3 is the fiscal agent. The Hope In Action (HIA) violence intervention program reduces shootings by identifying situations where the likelihood of violence is high and engaging high-risk individuals in order to de-escalate situations before violence occurs. Building upon the model Ceasefire Oakland, The Hope In Action Anti-Violence project utilizes a three-tier approach:
- Violence Interrupters
- The Hope Collective
- The Hope In Action Violence Prevention Taskforce
